August 6th, 1962
The Jamaica and itโs people celebrate their independence. 59 years later, despite the hardships, we continue to celebrate our pride and revel in the joy of our many triumphs. Our ancestors suffered so that we could rise. May we continue up that hill and when we get to the top, may those that came before us and love us for continuing their fight be there with open arms as they reflect on the fact that their living would not be in vain. One Love!
